Transportation from E4 building to the Mekong Basin Civilization Museum. Shuttles will depart every 15 minutes between 16:30 and 17:30 from the E4 meeting point. See indications on this map.
17:30 - 17:45 Welcome
Opening remarks and welcome address. Introduction of the evening's cultural performances: "Kin Ka La and To Dance" and “Himmapan Performance”.
17:45 – 18:00 King Ka La and To Dance
The King Ka La and To Dance is a Shan traditional performance. This captivating dance recounts the miraculous days when the Buddha descended on the human world. Deities and mythical creatures from the Himmapan Forest welcome guests, bringing together Heaven, Earth and Hell.
18:00 - 18:20 Himmapan Performance
A contemporary performance illustrating the Trilokya belief of Buddhism and Hinduism that highlights the harmonious coexistence of various species in the Himmapan Forest.
18:20 - 19:30 Kad Mua - Lanna Traditional Market
A variety of local foods and beverages will be offered at the Kad Mua market (buffet). An opportunity to enjoy the flavors and aromas of the Lanna culture.
19:30 - 19:45 Farewell
Event conclusion, thanking guests for being part of this special evening. Transportation back to E4 building will be provided from 19:00 to 20:00 (every 15 minutes).
